Introducing Rodeo Cinema on Film Row!
Help us reach our $50,000 goal, so we can receive a matching grant from the National Saddlery and complete the preservation/renovation of the last remaining screening room on Film Row!
Rodeo Cinema has expanded our unique filmgoing experience to FILM ROW and we need your help.
Located at 701 W Sheridan Ave, The Paramount Building holds one of Oklahoma’s oldest and last screening rooms from the days when OKC’s Film Row was home to several Hollywood film distribution houses.
Rodeo Cinema is now dedicated to not only restoring this classic piece of Oklahoma’s cinema history but creating something that will last into the future. This 75 seat screening room has been outfitted with a modern projection and sound system that will allow us to screen the newest Hollywood films as well as host special events and classic screenings!
The Film Row district is home to some of Oklahoma City’s finest dining, art galleries, and live-music venues such as: The Jones Assembly, Joey’s Pizza, Mary Eddy’s Kitchen and Lounge, and the 21C Museum Hotel. The district also includes the exciting 80’s arcade bar The Flashback Retropub and the boutique wine bar The Study. Newly arrived in Film Row are two of OKC’s newest breweries: Core4 Brewing and OK Cider Co.
To bring the district around full circle - Rodeo Cinema is bringing the Film back to Film Row.
The mission of Rodeo Cinema continues to be to promote, engage, and enrich community consciousness through film. Residing in the Paramount Building itself and our new next door neighbors are the offices of the deadCenter Film Festival. Together, we’ll be able to bring exciting film events from premieres to anything we can do to help local filmmakers bring their visions to the silver screen!
