DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: BEFORE, DURING, & BEYOND COVID-19

Growing unemployment, increased anxiety, financial stress, and a scarcity of community resources have set the stage for a domestic violence crisis.

Lockdowns have been put into place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, for many, this means being stuck in isolation with their abusers. Victims find themselves isolated in violent homes, without access to resources, friends, and family networks. 

Domestic violence is at an all time high due to the effects of COVID-19.

Our programs and resources are needed more than ever. Everyone deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. These are things most of us take for granted. Our Sisters' House provides crucial services that help eliminate barriers to success.  

Victims of domestic violence often do not have the resources to leave their abuser and live independently. Your donation will help pay for housing, food, relocation, temporary shelter options, or anything that may impede the safety and success of an individual.

We are asking our community to step up and help us remind everyone that they are loved and supported. Every dollar can make a difference in changing a life.
