Help Moms, Infants and Children, Give to Heartbeat!
We helped 675 precious newborn babies in 2021, and 180 babies so far this year in 2022! God is so good. Over 95% of our funds are used to give direct help to families. Please help as you are able. May God Bless You for your generosity!
Knowing how difficult it is for these women to ask for help, Heartbeat often goes above and beyond the initial request, with compassion, in help restore the dignity of these women, who otherwise would feel less-than for having asked. There are countless stories of hope and love provided by Heartbeat Pregnancy Help. We pray for the families we help. Please God let these women know Jesus loves them and their children. Here are just a few of the stories...
- A Mom with a 5-month old baby removed from a domestic violence situation. The father didn't allow her to take anything with her for the baby, and the police had to focus on getting the mom and baby out safely. An agency called Heartbeat. Heartbeat provided her with a baby travel system (car seat and stroller, clothing and a few other items).
- One mom came to Heartbeat on her due date, panicked because she didn't have a car seat and knew she couldn't bring the baby home without a car seat. Heartbeat provided her with a car seat, stroller, and layette.
- A woman called looking for a crib mattress for her 18-month old son who is sleeping on a comforter on the floor. Heartbeat will get her son a mattress and a toddler bed.
- A mother called Heartbeat when she needed clothing for her three children. She had left her abusive husband and was living in one room with her three children in a friend's apartment. Heartbeat provided her with clothing for her children.
- One woman got to her knees in gratitude when she saw the items she was receiving for her baby.
- A young mother needed help. She was living in a homeless shelter with her toddler. She was expecting a second child that would be born premature due to health problems. Heartbeat provided her with emotional and material support.
- A mom calls for help. She has twin boys turning 9 and nothing in her fridge to eat or birthday presents for her sons. Heartbeat got her a gift card to Market Basket and birthday presents for her sons.
Heartbeat is an all-volunteer nonprofit (501c3) organization that has been helping needy families north of Boston for the past 25 years.
Expectant moms who have nothing for their babies are provided with a baby bed, a stroller/car seat combination, blankets, clothing, bibs, bottles, diapers, wipes, and other needed baby items. While some items are donated to Heartbeat, most must be purchased, usually at bargain prices. Over 96% of your donation goes to direct assistance to needy mothers and children.
Heartbeat continues to assist families for several years or more, as needed, with clothing for the babies and their siblings, baby’s and children’s equipment, toys and other items. Volunteers deliver these items to many families who cannot get to Burlington.
Heartbeat relies on the generosity of people at Catholic parishes to do God's work. Your tax-deductible contributions help needy women and children.
