UPDATE 2/9/2022: ODC and Rhythm & Motion are grateful to be back in the studio in a limited capacity. We continue to offer online and in-person classes, but have not yet been able to return to our comprehensive pre-pandemic programming. We appreciate any and all support for our teachers as we work our way back to a full and robust schedule.

UPDATE 8/8/2020: While ODC School and R&M have been able to transition some classes to Zoom, we are still unable to safely offer in-person classes and it’s not clear when this situation will change. In the meantime, your support is a critical lifeline for our faculty.

UPDATE 4/30/2020: We continue to be awestruck by your generosity! We have been gradually adding classes to our online offerings but the latest extension of shelter-in-place through the end of May continues to be a challenge for our faculty. They still need our help so we are increasing our goal once again to support them through this time.

At ODC School and Rhythm & Motion, the health and well-being of our students, teachers, staff and wider community are our top priority. That’s why we have suspended all in-person classes through April 30th.

We are acutely aware that this comes with major financial ramifications for our teachers and accompanists – the heart of the ODC School and Rhythm & Motion community.

Many of you have already inquired about how you can help support them during this time and in response, we have created this fundraising campaign to do just that. The economic climate of the Bay Area was already challenging before the COVID-19 crisis began. The loss of teaching income is likely more than what many of our teachers can absorb.

We know that these are extraordinary and unpredictable times but we are committed to supporting one another in whatever ways that we can until we can safely come together to dance again.
