Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series
The Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series brings Civil and Human Rights icons to the East Bay organized by our staff and young leaders! Individual sponsorships cover related expenses and program support. THANK YOU!
The Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series promotes a healthy exchange of ideas to help inspire and produce the next generation of civil leaders and servants.
These days, everyone is looking for opportunities and avenues to make life more meaningful, solve real problems, and be part of sustainable solutions. When the values and principles of businesses connect with those in the community, we all move forward.
The lecture series is a partnership between the Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center and Merritt College. With standing room audiences, the lecture series has consistently presented pivotal speakers who impacted our nation’s civil rights movement and gained a wide range of community appeal and appreciation.
Through the Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series, we have connected businesses, community organizations, elected and government officials, parents, and workers with some of the more courageous and exemplary civil and human rights leaders of our times.
The Freedom Center is asking for community businesses and organizations to help sponsor the Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series.
Sponsors will receive public recognition through electronic messaging reaching well over 100,000, posters and flyers for regional distribution, and an opportunity to promote transformative community events to your constituents.
