Shine On Sierra Leone

In rural Sierra Leone more than 70% of students are not able to access healthcare when needed. Ashley’s Project is our newest avenue to bring healing to our students and staff.  Having onsite access to supportive clinic care is a beautiful component of our students' inner and outer development.  Some of the most pervasive illnesses plaguing the youth in Sierra Leone are malaria, diarrheal diseases and respiratory diseases.  Students at Muddy Lotus Primary are now able to receive basic health services for common sicknesses that prevent them from being healthy enough to learn.  Since its opening, Ashley's Clinic has served 300 of our students, 32 teachers, and has treated over 200 cases of malaria.   Ashley's Clinic is a powerful, effective solution!
