For many of our youth, the Marin coastline is a world away despite being just minutes from home. At Play Marin, we are ending that isolation by turning the shore into a classroom for confidence and a playground for health equity. We have seen firsthand how a single week on the water can transform a child’s perspective, replacing fear with mastery and hesitation with a sense of true belonging. Your partnership has already helped us break down the initial barriers; now, we are asking you to help us cement this legacy for years to come.

Consistency is the key to real change. By providing annual, recurring access to surfing, sailing, and kayaking, we aren’t just offering a hobby—we are fostering a lifelong relationship with the environment. These programs serve as vital "third spaces" where youth from different backgrounds build a unified community while gaining the physical and mental resilience needed to thrive. As we look ahead, we refuse to stay static. We are ready to take our mission further inland to the river rapids, expanding our reach to include whitewater rafting in 2026.
