Help Valor Rising Get Into A Building
Reaching this goal will allow us to rent a facility to run our AA/NA meetings, workouts, and events.
All donation sizes help us to support our mission to help revive individuals in early addiction recovery through connection and empowerment within a united, sober community.
Valor Rising was created with the purpose to give those in early addiction recovery, specifically the "at risk" addict, a support system of a community in recovery. The "At Risk" recovering addict is one that has very little to no positive support within their previous "home" community. Remaining in this environment in early recovery, without a strong connection to a sober community, their chances of continual sobriety drastically decrease. Through connection and empowerment those within Valor Rising will form a community that will be supportive in changing the direction of lives with recovery being at the core.
Valor Rising uses fitness to encourage not only healthy physical habits but to increase self-esteem and relationships with one another. Weekly you can attend sober events that are intended to connect you with others that have similar active interests. Some of these events include hikes, beach workouts, yoga classes, meditation classes, and various types of runs. Following the activity an AA/All A's meeting will be held for those that want to share within the twelve-step program.
Valor Rising goes into treatment centers to start building relationships with clients. We hold recurring instructor led health and wellness activities at these location. We want individuals while in treatment to know that there is a safe community of sober individuals that can help empower them through their recovery before and after returning home.
All the events that we host are free to attend. Your donations will continue to allow us to keep these free.
Valor Rising's goal is to purchase a building that will have the space and equipment to hold various fitness and wellness classes. Partnering with the community we would like to provide job opportunities in need during early recovery.
