Water for Schools Project
#EmpowerEducation
In the Tabaka ward of Kisii, Kenya, few children have access to water at home, let alone at school. In response to the growing and immediate need, it is our mission to empower learning by providing clean water so children can confidently perform in the classroom.
Sweetwater Outreach's Water for Schools Program provides access to water on site at each school through the installation of gutters to catch rainwater and large collection tanks. Depending on the size of the school these installations cost $1,000.00-$3,000.00 for each school. Phase 2 of the Water for Schools Program installs purifcation systems at each school. Our goal is to provide all the schools in the Tabaka Ward with access to clean and SAFE water at school as well as education to empower each child to take the water problems in their communities into their own hands!
You can help support this program by donating today! All dontations will go towards the Water for School Program or if you would like to invest in a specific school you can join our Adopt a School Program and by adopting a school you provide a purification installation for your School.
