Our Story

While 2020 has been a difficult year, our lifesaving efforts have not slowed down. We are seeing some great progress in the Lowndes County Animal Shelter statistics and we are closer than ever before to making Lowndes County a No Kill Zone. Your continued support has allowed us to create and continue to run 8+ innovative programs. Efforts like spay/neuter, a foster based kitten NICU, and Life Ride transport programs are all helping us work towards one goal: to save them all. With your help, we can make a lasting impact this Giving Tuesday and fund our lifesaving work. In all of 2019, we saved 415 animals total. So far in 2020, we've saved almost 900 animals! There is always room on our lifesaving team. Help us speak for those who cannot speak for themselves by donating today!
