Share My Smile's goal is $35,000 to cover 25% of our operating expenses for 2023, which will allow us to expand our County Ambassador program, serving more families and impacting lives of more and more children!

Share My Smile is a non-profit organization that serves foster and adoptive families in 17 counties in Iowa and Douglas County in Nebraska. Our mission is to provide family strengthening events and care programs for foster families to encourage true, honest, and happy smiles in children.

Share My Smile has four main programs: Care for You Action, Project Birthday Joy, Operation Holiday Smiles, and Family Strengthening Events.

Care For You Action provides filled backpacks with necessities, school supplies, and toys to children entering foster care. Project Birthday Joy provides foster children party packs (cake, party decorations, and a gift card) as well as birthday cards for all children in the home. Operation Holiday Smiles provides holiday programming during Thanksgiving and Christmas, which includes all children in the home receiving gifts at Christmas time. Family Strengthening Activities are exclusive to the foster and adoptive families we serve. We provide activities throughout the year to give our families the opportunity to engage in free or low-cost, entertaining activities in an environment where parents and children in our program can engage with one another.

Our goal going into 2023 is to expand and grow our programs. The "Funding for the Future" Capital Campaign will raise $35,000 to fund 25% of our annual operating expenses for the year. To achieve our growth goals, we are expanding our reach with a County Ambassador Program. The County Ambassador program will identify a representative in each county we serve that will bridge the gap between our headquarters, Council Bluffs/Pottawattamie County, and the remaining 17 counties we serve to bring services closer to each family. At this time, we have hired County Ambassadors for Pottawattamie and Harrison counties.

A donation of $25 would provide ONE child a gift during the holiday season.

$50 One-Time

A donation of $50 would provide TWO backpacks with necessities and comfort items for children entering foster care.

$500 One-Time

Bronze Level Sponsorship - A donation of $500 would provide TEN children in foster care party boxes on their birthday.

$1,000 One-Time

Silver Level Sponsorship - A donation of $1,000 would sponsor one to two family strengthening events.

$3,000 One-Time

Gold Level Sponsorship - A donation of $3,000 will support the hiring of a Program Specialist to optimize programming and provide more event opportunities.

$5,000 One-Time

Platinum Level Sponsorship - A donation of $5,000 will make game changing growth in Share My Smile's ability to serve MORE families across each of the 18 counties we serve!
