The Boys & Girls Club of Phillips County has a mission that, alone, is no easy feat - to transform Phillips County. With your help, this mission becomes an attainable destination. By improving the character, life-prospects, and opportunity for youth.

Boys & Girls Club of Phillips County

The Boys and Girls Club of Phillips County has been working intentionally to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our community’s youth in the midst of a global pandemic.  After a brief time of closure in March, we partnered with healthcare professional employers and emergency services to serve as a childcare provider for their employees’ children.  Operating under CDC guidelines, the Club was open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m..  In June, we opened back up at limited capacity for Club members.  In the Fall, we started our usual after school programming (with continued limited capacity and under CDC guidelines).  Additionally, we have partnered with KIPP Delta Public Schools and Helena-West Helena School District to serve as a hub for virtual students.  The Club is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for virtual school, and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for after school programming.

We desire to continue our current initiative for Club kids and virtual students. Each child and teen that walks through our doors is fed, cared for, and developed by our trained staff until 7 p.m. every weekday. But as a 501(c)3 non-profit, these expenses come almost solely from donations. The cost of each child annually is nearly $800 to support. We cannot continue to keep our doors open without your help.
