I have been selected as a Youth Ambassador with YPT Global Edge. As an International Scholar. I will be traveling to South Africa this summer to gain international leadership experience and expand my horizons to become a global leader.

Young People Travel Global Edge

My name is Legaci and I am in the six grade at Autrey Mill Middle School. This is my first year involved in Young People Travel Global Edge. I am really excited about traveling and learning about other contries. 

Activities: Softball, Volleyball, Basketball

The reason I would like to  go to Africa is to learn about the different cultures and try all the different foods. I’d love to get the opportunity to learn about their history. Having an up close experience will help me visually. I love to embark on new adventures and this would really be an awesome opportunity.

Young People Travel (YPT) Global Edge gives a global edge to African American youth through international scholarship and virtual learning. A global edge allows students to broaden their worldview in their everyday lives and have a positive impact on their communities and the world. This offers a pathway into foreign affairs, ambassadorship, international relations, and many other areas that result in a global impact. Our programs are specifically designed to accommodate girls travel and boys travel experiences.
