Support the Kula Community Watershed Alliance
With your support, we’re clearing invasive regrowth, creating defensible space, and planting shaded green breaks of native trees to protect our homes, watersheds, and wildlife. This is a long-term recovery effort led by the community, for the community.
Your donation directly supports:
🌱 Kula Fire Restoration Project: Restoring over 120 acres of land impacted by the 2023 Kula Fire by removing invasive vegetation and replanting native trees and shrubs to rebuild a resilient landscape.
🔥 Kula Fuels Reduction Project: Reducing wildfire risk by working with landowners to clear fire-prone species like wattle, build shaded green breaks, and create defensible space around homes and infrastructure.
🌿 Community Restoration Nursery & Tool Library: Growing tens of thousands of native plants for restoration while offering free access to propagation tools, seeds, and workshops for volunteers, students, and neighbors.
Every dollar funds hands-on restoration and resilience in the the communities impacted by the August 2023 Kula Fire.
