I'm raising funds to adopt a classroom of high school students in LA! My goal is to raise $500 and with your help, it can be done! It isn't easy to be a high school student right now, and Adopt A Classroom is a really powerful way to provide social and emotional support to our youth.

THE CHALLENGE

Youth are in need of social and emotional support. The Surgeon General has issued an urgent call for a swift and coordinated response to the current youth mental health crisis. We are seeing surging rates of helplessness, depression, and thoughts of suicide among youth. ADOPT A CLASSROOM is an opportunity to offer youth a unique set of tools to recognize and celebrate their strengths, resilience, and inherent value through the creation of their own personal narrative.

THE CAUSE

PLUS ME will be ADOPTING the classrooms of 5 teachers in LA bringing our motivational 5-hour Storytellers workshop series and My Story Matters Journals to all their classes, nearly 900 students total.

THE CALL

We are calling on you to join this movement to provide social and emotional support for youth by contributing to this ADOPT A CLASSROOM campaign today. Support PLUS ME in activating the art of personal storytelling to increase confidence in youth as they pursue college, career & life goals. We each play an important role in supporting youth.

THE CELEBRATION

All are welcome to attend the Annual ADOPT A CLASSROOM Silent Auction Benefit on Saturday, June 11 at 11 AM for an uplifting experience where you will hear directly from the teachers whose classrooms you've adopted, connect with like-minded change makers and enjoy delicious bites, wine & beer, music, and a fabulous silent auction. PLUS ME is connecting the pieces to create a world where communities are filled with courageous voices whose stories are heard, valued, and celebrated. We are excited for you to be part of this movement!
