Why a Free Little Lending Library @ SAAACAM?

Did you know books with African American characters were premium products. How? The children books in the Museum Shop in SAAACAM @ La Villita sold out in less than 30 days.  

Being the grandmother of 10 grandchildren, I spend a small fortune on books and their Kindle Fire subscriptions.  What about the children that don't have access to books with African American characters? 

The day of our debut TaskUs sponsored books for each child. Watching the joy and empowerment in a child to step up to a book rack and select any book with African American characters was heart-warming. The delight in their faces with their book was unimaginable.  Each child held their book like it was a treasure.   

The free little lending library provides an opportunity to provide books seven days a week. The library will delight children and adults alike.  Your donation will keep books in the  library.
