Annual Scholarship - Your one time gift of $1260 will provide membership for one young person into a club.  This keeps young people safe from the streets after school and during the summer for one year.

Summer Education Initiative - Your one time gift will provide a member with direct educational interaction with a certified school teacher for 10 weeks.  This will assist in eliminating summer learning loss.

Your monthly gift will help provide hot meals for 15 club members for an entire month.

Academic Programming - Your monthly gift of $25 will assist us with making sure all club members are at or above grade level and on track to graduate from high school.

To assure our young people have access to technology, adequate food, school supplies and mentorship, the Boys & Girls Club of the Tar River Region needs community support more now than ever.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region

Each year community leaders in the Twin Counties come together at the Annual Steak & Burger Dinner to raise money for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region. The fundraising event is designed to honor their youth and provide an opportunity for donors to experience first-hand the impact the Club is making on the lives of young people in the Twin Counties. 

The virtual format allows a broader audience to learn what the organization has accomplished throughout the year.  The evening will include appearances from Boys & Girls Clubs members, staff, and Board members. Also featured will be our co-hosts, Mayor Sandy Roberson, and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region and North Carolina State Youth of the Year, Elijah Sellers.

The pandemic has disrupted all of our lives, especially our most vulnerable. To assure our young people have access to technology, adequate food, school supplies and mentorship, the Boys & Girls Club of the Tar River Region needs community support more now than ever.  Proceeds from the Steak & Burger event will directly impact our clubs and the over 1,200 young people who walk through the doors.
