The Foundation for Casey's Cure

Donate to support the development of gene therapy to cure muscular dystrophy and help change lives.

There are more than 30 types of muscular dystrophy, but only a handful have any available treatments. While gene therapies are being developed for some, Casey’s form isn’t included yet.

The good news is that discovering a gene therapy for Casey’s rare type could also unlock treatments for several other forms that share the same gene. With your help, we can make this a reality.

At our Foundation, 95% of every donation goes directly toward:


- Advancing cellular research to solve the genetic puzzle that causes the gene to stop functioning.
- Supporting a critical research grant focused on developing a treatment (via infusion) that won’t harm Casey’s liver or kidneys.
- Opening doors for new therapies that could benefit others living with muscular dystrophy.
