$10 buys one student a souvenir on the Washington, DC trip. Help our students remember a trip of lifetime with spending money for souvenir shops.

A $15 donation buys one student a keepsake t-shirt for the Washington, DC trip. This will allow our students to stand out in the crowd and share our logo with the world.

A $25 donation supplies one student with needed hygiene items for the entire duration of the Washington, DC trip and beyond.

A $50 donation buys a set of luggage for one student going on the Washington, DC trip. Some students have no luggage and we would like to send them to the nation's capital in style!

A $100 donation buys a backpack and back-to-school supplies needed for one student. This will allow us to support students beyond the Washington DC trip.

A $200 donation supports one student on their trip to Washington and beyond! The donation covers luggage, hygiene items, t-shirt and souvenir spending money for the trip, and a backpack and all the school supplies they need for the next school year.

Fundraisers

We need $9,000 to support students going on DC's educational trip to Washington, DC. With these funds, each student will get luggage, hygiene items, a t-shirt, souvenir spending money, and a backpack and school supplies for the upcoming school year!

The Dominican Center

Each year the Dominican Center takes students from Amani and chaperones on a trip of a lifetime to Washington, DC.

- Some students in Amani have never traveled far beyond thier neighborhood. A trip to Washington, DC can show them life and opportunity at the nation's capitol, inspiring future careers in politics, teaching and more.

 - Students will not only visit "the room where it happens" during the White House tour, they'll visit national monuments and learn about the history of our nation. They'll also visit museums, landmarks throughout Washington, DC, and a tour a historically Black College.

 - Students will be able to experience a trip of a lifetime with peers from their own neighborhood and make friendships that will last beyond the trip. Students will also make connections with adult chaperones, tourism professionals, and senators and elected officials.
