Dear Friend,

As this chaotic year winds down, Amani is uniting to become stronger than ever. The need for donor support has increased across the board. The Dominican Center continues to offer vital programs and support services to Amani residents. Our GED/HSED adult education program is now offered virtually to ensure daily student and tutor interactions continue. We have celebrated three students completing their certification. Since March 13, Dominican Center staff has completed nearly 1,500 wellness calls to residents, sharing resources, food and safety information. Covid-19 has united Amani in a way we’re proud of. The residents are more involved and unified than ever before.

As the pandemic continues, the future remains unpredictable. In the midst of uncertainty, we’ve adapted quickly to the residents’ changing reality. The Amani needs are great and we need your support.

Through your generosity, Dominican Center will continue to support Neighborhood Safety, Housing & Economic Development and Education & Family Well-being for more than 8,000 Amani residents. In addition to a financial contribution, there are many other opportunities for you to help available on our website You can also advocate for Dominican Center by sharing our mission with family and friends. A mention on your social media platforms would be greatly appreciated.

In times like this, we’re reminded of how interconnected we all are. Thank you for being part of our community. With your help, we will continue to be a support for Amani residents.

Gratefully, The Dominican Center
