Donate to River Watch!!
The Friends of the Minnesota Valley River Watch Program is a high school program that allows teams of students to get outside and learn hands on data collection and water monitoring skills. The data collected by students is then used by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to help monitor pollution levels in Minnesota's waterways.
In addition to collecting valuable data about river water quality, the River Watch program helps educate a new generation on the need for taking positive action to preserve and protect the river and lands of the basin. Students are able to see first hand the impacts and implications of proper water management in their own communities, and are able to feel a sense of pride in helping to care for those communities.
With a gift of $25 or more, you become a member of Friends of the Minnesota Valley and will receive up-to-date river valley news and information and invitations to special events.
