Feeding Nashville (DBA of We are One World Foundation)

Feeding Nashville's mission is to nourish, comfort, and heal our community through sustainable solutions around nutritious food.

We began as an effort to help our Nashville neighbors after the 2020 tornado and ongoing health and financial crises from COVID-19 left many in our community hungry. Over the course of that first year, we were able to provide food for over 70,000 families and individuals in Nashville. As the needs in our city have changed throughout the course of the pandemic and beyond, we’ve continued to seek out more creative and effective ways to operate. By donating meals to schools, nonprofits, medical facilities, and organizations grounded in communities experiencing need, we are ensuring that nutritious food is going to those who need it most.

 and counting! We currently provide individual and family meals on a consistent basis for 12 Community Partners in addition to working with 2 other organizations to cater community meals for one time events. We know we can do more, but in order to continue doing this work and to grow our reach we need your help! We invite you to join us. As little as $7 can provide a freshly-made, nutritious meal to our community partners serving at-risk students, families in need, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those recovering from medical procedures.
