I have a personal connection to Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania. My sister was born with Down Syndrome and benefited from many different programs Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania provided. I saw firsthand how those programs taught her life skills, boosted her confidence, and provided her with opportunities to have independence. My sister’s experience is not unique. Easterseals helps to provide children and families with the skills and resources they need to develop, grow, and be successful. Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania wants to make programing like early intervention, Autism Diagnostics, outpatient therapy, summer camps, and more available to all children and families who have a need and desire to participate. This past year nonprofits across the U.S. have experienced profound financial uncertainty as a result of funding cuts, freezes and budget delays at the both the federal and state level. Even with this uncertainty, the team at Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania persevered and has continued to provide exceptional, comprehensive, and life-changing programs and services for individuals with disabilities and their families.
