Almost five years ago, I joined the Board of Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania and found this small organization to be extremely important in the lives of the 3,000 individuals - and their families - who rely on them every year. The early intervention; physical, speech and occupational therapy; camps; community supports; and vocational preparation are just some of the programs that are essential to improving the quality of life for those less fortunate than we are. Every contribution, whatever the size, helps keep these programs and assistance available to infants through adults with disabilities. I have a personal connection to Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania. My sister was born with Down Syndrome and benefited from many different programs Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania provided. I saw firsthand how those programs taught her life skills, boosted her confidence, and provided her with opportunities to have independence.

 

My sister’s experience is not unique. Easterseals helps to provide children and families with the skills and resources they need to develop, grow, and be successful. Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania wants to make programing like early intervention, Autism Diagnostics, outpatient therapy, summer camps, and more available to all children and families who have a need and desire to participate.

 

This past year nonprofits across the U.S. have experienced profound financial uncertainty as a result of funding cuts, freezes and budget delays at the both the federal and state level. Even with this uncertainty, the team at Easterseals of Eastern Pennsylvania persevered and has continued to provide exceptional, comprehensive, and life-changing  programs and services for individuals with disabilities and their families.

 

In these unpredictable times, we need support from individuals like you more than ever. By generous donations from our communities, we can make sure every child and family who wants and needs our services can have access to them. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to my personal fundraising page for Easterseals Eastern PA. I became involved with this organization a couple of years ago and decided to become a Board Member.  Currently, I serve as the Development Committee Chair.   Easterseals provides families who have children with disabilities services that they need to live their best lives possible. These services include therapy, specialty clinics, specialized autism services, recreational activities and so much more. Thank you for visiting my page and considering donating to this amazing organization. As an adult with cerebral palsy, I know first-hand what early intervention can do for a child trying to figure out why it’s not as easy for them to do what all the kids around them can do. 

Easterseals takes that child and gives them and their family the support they will need to navigate through the most valuable years of a child’s development, from physical therapy to social interactions with other children with similar struggles. 

My goal here is to give each child the help they need to believe in themselves and the support they need to achieve those goals.

Welcome Family and Friends!  Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the 2026 Easterseals Eastern PA annual campaign. I began working for Easterseals in August of 2022 as their Database and AR Coordinator, and it is truly an honor to work alongside wonderful and caring individuals who all have the same goal in mind- to make a great impact and better the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our community. I have the privilege of working at our Reading location and am able to witness amazing interactions between our therapists and the individuals and families we serve. I wish you could also see their proud smiles as another milestone is reached and hear their joyous laughs. Their infectious laughter travels down the hall to my office and adds joy to my day.
