Shelter Shower Rebuild
Our full renovation will require significant investment, but raising 15,000 will allow us to complete the most urgent phase of the project and keep demolition and reconstruction moving forward.
Everyone deserves a safe, clean place to refresh and restore.
At Iron County Care and Share, hundreds of individuals and families rely on our shelter each year. Something as simple as a warm shower can make a world of difference, offering comfort, dignity, and a moment of peace during an incredibly difficult time.
Our shower rooms have now reached a point where a full renovation is no longer optional but essential. After years of heavy daily use, the original materials and construction have begun to fail. In fact, some areas have already required demolition so we can begin rebuilding from the ground up. This renovation will ensure the new facilities are safe, clean, accessible, and built to withstand many more years of service to our community.
It’s exciting to see this project really coming together! Tile is going in now, and the shower floors should be finished by soon.
*UPDATE 1*
We’re making real progress. New sheetrock is up, and we’re getting ready for the next big step: tiling the floors and walls!
