Black Caucus of the American Library Association

The Black Caucus of the American Library Association continues to celebrate our 50th anniversary. A $50 gift, $1 for each year of our work, will support African American librarians and the communities we serve. 

Donations support the following initiatives and programs:

National Conference of African American Librarians (NCAAL): This Conference brings African American library workers together to learn, explore, and engage with each other. Check out our website at 

BCALA’s Literary Awards: The awards recognize excellence in adult fiction and nonfiction by African American authors. Check out our 2020 Literary Award Winners—
