WE ARE FIYA, AND WE ARE STREGTHENING SCHOOLS THROUGH SPORTS. DONATE TODAY! 

Established in 2011, FIYA believes in the power of school-based sports and the impact a school athletic program can have on a school community. Our vision is that middle and elementary schools with comprehensive athletic programs will produce well rounded youth better prepared for their future on and off the playing field.

We fulfill this vision by working directly with schools to offer athletic opportunities to their students and by helping them develop their athletic programs.

It's evident that current schools participating in FIYA have been experiencing the positive effects that sports have on their students both inside and outside of the classroom and the  impact sports have made on their school community as a whole.  Word travels fast and more and more schools are joining FIYA each and every! While this is obviously exciting news, it does not come without challenges.  

To help us meet these challenges and maintain the same excellent service as we grow, our goal is to raise $15,000 for the 2024-25 school year!

SO WHY FIYA? BECAUSE FIYA IS FOR EVERYONE. 

FIYA is a community made up of public, charter, private and independent schools

 who join to make after-school sports possible for their students. We are proudly open for participation to every type of school so that more kids have the chance to participate in youth sports. We don't cater to the best athletes, we cater to the whole child. Our programs are about bringing out the best in our students and therefore bringing out the best in our schools. 

So when you support FIYA, you are providing the opportunity for students of all backgrounds to participate in team sports as part of our community of schools:

 students participating annually throughout Los Angeles County

of FIYA student-athletes are students of color

 reside in neighborhoods that are of low to moderate income

 of our students receive free or reduced lunch 

 come from families that do not have the resources for “club” or outside sports

Girls, Boys, & Coed Volleyball - 172 teams across 18 leagues

Girls & Boys Flag Football - 84 teams across 10 leagues

Cross Country - 6 meets with over 2000 total athletes

Girls, Boys, & Coed Futsal - 47 teams across 6 leagues

Girls & Boys Basketball - 244 teams across 27 leagues

Girls & Boys Soccer - 168 teams across 26 leagues

Track & Field - 5 meets with over 2500 total athletes
