Minmahaw School kicked off the start to its 2024/2025 school year in June!

This year the school is serving more students than before due to the ever-increasing conflicts in Myanmar. Minmahaw School has long been an important lifeline for young women and men fleeing from Myanmar to Thailand. By educating, housing, feeding, and creating community for an outstanding group of youth each year, Minmahaw re-instills hope in young people who have faced uncertain futures and disrupted lives, including schooling.

In order to serve deserving youth who have overcome extraordinary circumstances to make it to Minmahaw School on the Thai/Myanmar border - enduring separation from family, violent conflict, poverty, and more - Minmahaw relies almost entirely on donations and volunteer support. Donations to this match will go towards providing academic and social-emotional services, feeding students, maintaining school and dorm facilities, and ensuring that deserving, passionate students have the opportunity to move forward in their lives with safety, care, and optimism.

We are deeply grateful to our long-time friends and Minmahaw School supporters who have made this match happen for the 4th year in a row. Please help us raise $25,000 which will be MATCHED for a total of $50,000. This is enough funding to sustain Minmahaw School for the entire year, and ensure that students receive the chance to jumpstart a hopeful young adulthood.
