Artist Project Fund
NBAF is is committed to working directly with emerging artists to expose them to art disciplines and to support their growth and development. Every step forward furthers our mission to expose, educate, engage and entertain audiences as we present and support fine art and artists of African descent, while broadening cultural experiences for all.
With the uncertainty we are all facing in 2021, it is NBAF’s priority to ensure that our community doesn’t go without resources during times of a national crisis. As a result, NBAF (National Black Arts) launched an Artist Project Fund to provide financial resources to support Black Artists in getting back to work as well as business development resources to further their craft. It is our hope to sustain this fund month over month through your support by adding new donors, corporate sponsors and community partners so that we can support black artists in Atlanta and eventually nationwide. We will award small stipends to artists to navigate through these difficult times and also take support beyond a stipend through partnerships geared toward ensuring equity in resources for the artist community to create the work that makes our world so vibrant!
