Valor has a long road ahead of him but as long as he is willing to fight, we are fighting with him. Valor was rescued by Junction City Police on February 23. He was found on the side of the road, unable to walk. They thought both of his front legs were broken. They took him to the Emergency Vet and he was then transferred to CRAN. Valor did not have broken legs. He had been declawed and has secondary contractures in both of his front feet making it very difficult for him to walk. He has been walking on his wrists. It has to be really painful. Valor is elderly. He is also dehydrated, anemic and emaciated and he also appears to be deaf. There is no way this boy was going to make it out there but he has a good chance now. The first step is to get him healthy and strong. He is getting all the food he wants and has been fitted with splints. The next step will be a tendon release so he can walk without pain but he needs to be stronger. Just his emergency room visit and a follow-up with one of our partner vets is almost $2,000. We will do whatever Valor needs, can you help?
