Neighbors Helping Neighbors Civic Alliance
Across Texas, families are living with kidney disease long before they ever know something is wrong. At the Texas Kidney Foundation (TKF), we believe no one should face this battle alone—or discover it too late. As an independent client voice, TKF stands for and with patients and families, ensuring they are heard, protected, and guided toward early detection and care.
That’s why we created the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Civic Alliance—a partnership opportunity for small businesses, civic and faith-based organizations committed to serving their communities through prevention, education, and hope.
When your organization joins the Civic Alliance, you become part of a statewide movement delivering lifesaving kidney screenings, education, and resources directly into neighborhoods. Your support strengthens your mission by extending care, compassion, and prevention to Texans who need it most.
Together, we can do something truly meaningful: help stop kidney disease before it starts.
Kidney disease is silent until it’s advanced. But with your monthly gift, TKF can continue to offer:
- Free kidney health screenings at Neighbors Helping Neighbors Community Health Fairs
- eGFR, uACR, A1C, blood pressure, and cholesterol testing
- Genetic kidney testing for high-risk individuals
- Education and prevention tools for families and congregations
- Community Health Worker support to help individuals navigate care
- Digital tools, including the TKF Mobile App, to track health and risk
- Community-based research and advocacy that change systems—not just symptoms
Your monthly partnership fuels all 12 TKF programs, expanding vital services to communities often overlooked by traditional healthcare systems.
Our first goal is to welcome 250 Monthly Alliance Partners.
Small businesses, civic and faith-based organizations play a pivotal role in helping TKF expand screenings, increase genetic testing access, and support more families across Texas.
Every new Civic Alliance Partner brings health, hope, and early detection to another household.
