Your $50 donation ensures a foster child gets a birthday box in the mail on their birthday, containing everything needed for a birthday party, including a $25 Walmart gift card.  Make it a monthly donation and provide birthday boxes to 12 children!

Your $100 donation ensures a foster child receives a backpack stuffed full of necessities when entering a new home.  Most children have nothing with them when they're abruptly pulled out of a home situation.

Host an event for our 200+ foster families with your $500 donation!  This donation goes toward an event location, food, and activities for the kids.  You will receive signage at the event & be highlighted in all marketing materials and social media.

With your $1000 donation, become a sponsor of one of two annual fundraising events: Share My Smile's Gala in April or Smile Fest (family festival) in September. You will receive signage at the event & be highlighted in all marketing.

Share My Smile

Share My Smile is a non-profit that serves foster and adoptive families in 17 counties in Iowa and Douglas County in Nebraska. We provide care programs, family strengthening activities, and community events.

Share My Smile has three main programs: Care for You Action, Project Birthday Joy, and Operation Holiday Smiles. Care for you action provides filled back packs with necessities, school supplies, and toys to children entering foster care. Project birthday joy provides foster children party packs (cake, party decorations, and a gift card) as well as cards for all other children in the home. Operation Holiday Smiles provides all children in the home gifts at Christmas time. 

Our family strengthening activities are exclusive to the foster and adoptive families we serve. We provide activities throughout the year to give our families the opportunity to engage in free or low cost, entertaining activities in an environment where parents and children in our program can engage with one another. Share My Smile annually hosts a spring outing, a summer beach party, and our program specific events, the Pumpkin Patch Outing, and the Holiday Dinner Celebration.

Our community events are family friendly fundraiser-style events that consist of entertainment and many activities for parents and children to engage in. While the families we serve are encouraged to attend these events, they are also open to the public to participate in.

A goal for 2023 is to expand and grow our "Family Fun" events.  With your help, we hope to raise $10,000 to put towards family and community events.
