Support DVAA's Artists, Makers, & Neighbors
With $10000, we will be able to put that directly back into the community that we love and continue to offer free programming that connects people through art.
Artists, Makers & Neighbors is a DVAA mini-documentary series exploring the diverse backgrounds, interests, and histories of the people who walk through the doors of DVAA. Focusing on sustainability and creative expression, each episode explores how all of us approach these topics with contrasting perspectives. Help us continue to share these stories by showing support through a donation.
Here at DVAA, everything we do works toward one goal: building community through art. We are a member-supported, non-profit organization. What does that mean? It means that one of our biggest financial supports come from donations. The current budget proposal for art in the city of Philadelphia next year has been decreased by ONE MILLION DOLLARS. This means we need individual support now more than ever. That is why we are asking for the people who have the means and benefit from our free programs, events, and exhibitions to donate today.
Join us on October 7th from 6:30-8pm at Da Vinci Art Alliance (704 Catharine St., Philadelphia, PA) for a film screening showcasing the second episode of Artist, Makers & Neighbors alongside short films by other Philly filmmakers. Puchase tickets to the event by clicking here.
