This amount ensures that Guardians of the Purple Heart can fund a project that will make a difference in the life of a combat wounded veteran. CJKF will add another $50 meaning your donation plus our match guarantees them $100

Fundraisers

This amount gives Guardians of the Purple Heart $500 under the CJKF match program. This will provide funding for a capital project for a veteran or ease their financial burdens in some way. All helping to contribute to better mental well being.

This amounts really means $1000 with CJKF's match program. This will allow Guardians of the Purple Heart to take on a more significant project or help ease a veteran's financial burden.

This will really be $2000 for GOTPH! This will help them support a veteran in our local area with needs that cannot be met my other organizations. This amount will make a substantial difference in what they are able to provide a combat wounded vetera

CJKF is proud to support Guardians of the Purple Heart and Connecticut's Combat Wounded Veterans

CJKF is proud to make this year's Memorial Day Fundraiser benefit Guardians of the Purple Heart. At CJKF, we are committed to helping veterans and our military get the love and support they need, which is why we chose to do a special fundraiser just for them! We know that often times our military members struggle with mental health and we are committed to helping ease that burden, because 22 a day is too many. 

Guardians of the Purple Heart is another local Connecticut non profit, and we could not ignore their name, let alone the amazing work they do for Purple Heart Recipients. To make this campaign have even more of an impact, 

CJKF will match all donations made via this Kindest page from Friday May 28 through Monday May 31.

 Any amount you can give will be doubled, meaning $5 turns to $10, $25 to $50 and so on! Financial stress often contributes to mental health conditions and we know that easing that burden for a veteran could make a large impact on their overall well being and life. Our Cause: The Guardians of the Purple Heart is made of a group of Veterans, family members, and spouses of Veterans who want to make a difference for Combat Wounded Veterans in the State of Connecticut. We intend to help a Veteran each year, focusing on different generations as each year passes. We run a Motorcycle Run every year as our biggest event to honor a Purple Heart recipient. We plan on running multiple other events throughout the year to support the goals of the organization and raise awareness for Combat Wounded Veterans, Veteran Suicide, and connecting Veterans with services provided by other organizations.

Our Purpose: To have successful fundraisers attended by supporters of our country’s Veterans to commemorate those wounded in combat while serving our country. We are raising money through sponsors, individual donations, and other events held throughout the year. The main event is the Purple Heart Poker Run, a motorcycle run in which a specific Recipient is chosen by the Board and honored on this day.  All of this is to recognize and celebrate those who have served our country, honoring specifically those who have faced death and been wounded in its defense.

Our Impact: Every year we want to have a positive impact on a Combat Wounded Veteran who is from Connecticut, as we seek to focus on helping a local individual. Our plan with the money we raise is to assist our recipient with basic needs or some essential need that other organizations are unable to provide. We will not only donate monetarily but reach out to local businesses in our community who can donate their time and services to help fulfill a complete package of necessities for our recipient.  We intend to make sure that all Connecticut Purple Heart Recipients feel they have a home in our state, a stable living environment, and a family within our organization.
