Support us in bringing magic to Salt Lake City, Utah
We would like to raise $2,500 to cover the costs associated with travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to honor Jocelyn by attending the Chad Change Charity Event.
You know our friend Jocelyn right?
Well if you're new here. Here's the story.
Jocelyn Ducharme made such a profound impact on our princesses in her 3 years on this earth. Jocelyn absolutely loved everything about Disney characters. Her first zoom call was with the little mermaid and the look on her face was priceless.
They blew bubbles, sang songs, and read stories. When Joce came to Boston (our native city) for treatment, she was able to meet some royal friends in person. Her favorite of course was Mrs. Mouse. The way we can still hear her yelling in excitement running up to the character, makes our hearts swell.
After months of treatment and trials, Jocelyn passed away from ATRT Brain Cancer in September of 2021. Leaving behind a community and her family devastated. For the first time ever, we flew to Utah for her services and made magic for her siblings while we were there. Fast forward a year later and we placed her shoes, with her parents, among the 1800 pairs representing kids who pass away from cancer each year at the Capital Monument in Washington, DC.
We were fortunate to know Jocelyn in her short time here. So, when we found out The Chad Change Movement is hosting a charity benefit on March 18, and we were lucky enough to be invited, we were ecstatic to bring magic back to where it all began. Chad Change was founded by Chad Ehlers, who's daughter also went through cancer treatments and recently rang the bell.
Mr. Ehlers continues to seek to make a difference in the lives of families who didn't get their bell ringing moment. We are grateful to be part of an event that will be in honor of Princess Jocelyn. She will be getting her name placed on the wall at Primary Children's Hospital, thanks to the Chad Change Movement.
Since we are a nonprofit operating solely on public donations, we need your help to get to Salt Lake City on March 18 and be part of the magic. On our trip we will also be visiting with a family fighting cancer, and visiting room to room of Jocelyn's hospital to bring some much needed smiles. Donate at the link above to help us travel and make some dreams come true, honoring the princess who taught us the true meaning of unconditional love.
