Every kid contains enormous potential, but there are barriers that prevent many of these kids from reaching that potential. From attending poorly funded schools to living in a food desert, students of color disproportionately lack access to the fundamental building blocks needed to succeed. Impact 6 is a non-profit organization designed and created to empower youth from underprivileged and under-resourced communities. We believe education happens within the context of a larger community, and we work to supplement existing communities by donating our time and energy to those who need it most. We connect kids at an earlier age with mentors who can help foster their growth and development in an impactful way. Our diverse set of successful mentors bring different skills and stories to the table, with the common factor being a driving passion to pay it forward to our next set of leaders.
Impact 6 is an organization directly supported by community members like YOU. Our work wouldn't be possible without your support.
Make an impact today, let's do better. #Impact6 Our goal is to make an impact in the following areas:
- MENTOR: Supporting our mentorship program, "Youth 4 Change" for youth across seven cities in five states.
- COMMUNITY: Supporting our two largest initiatives within the homeless community and hygiene insecurities among young girls and women.
- STEM: Creating equitable and accessible opportunities in science, engineering, tech, and mathematics for under represented youth in seven cities, including Wi-fi support for families during COVID-19.
- SUSTAINABILITY: Creating educational resources for community members and youth that promote climate awareness, and long term organizational sustainability.
- ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMING: Ensuring Impact 6 curriculum can continue to support local youth organizations and provide quality programming.
Let's Do Better.
