Jaime Campos Memorial
In lieu of flowers, the family of Jaime Campos has generously requested that donations be made to the Boys & Girls Club, an organization that held a special place in Jaime's heart throughout his life.
Jaime's connection to the Boys & Girls Club dates back to 1969, when he was named the Van Nuys Boys Club (which became the Boys & Girls Club) Boy of the Year. Alongside peers from the Pacoima and North Hollywood clubs, Jaime was awarded a memorable trip to Washington, D.C., where they were graciously hosted by Congressman James Corman, the representative for their area at the time.
Among many cherished memories, Jaime was featured in a notable photograph with Mayor Sam Yorty and a fellow club member from North Hollywood—a photo that was later used in a fundraising campaign billboard for the Boys Club.
This early recognition and the opportunities it afforded him had a lasting impact on Jaime. He often spoke fondly of these experiences and remained a steadfast supporter of the Boys & Girls Club throughout his life. By choosing to honor Jaime's memory through donations to this vital organization, we continue his legacy of nurturing and empowering young people.
Your generous contributions will help provide the resources and support needed to foster the next generation of leaders, just as the Boys Club did for Jaime many years ago. Thank you for joining us in celebrating Jaime's life and his enduring commitment to this cause.
